Blending the warmth of 1970s west coast r&b with the reflective edge of modern indie and singer/songwriter, San Leandro creates music that lives between introspective songwriting and lush instrumentals.

Albertoni’s writing pairs lyrically reflective themes with richly layered arrangements built on old-school live rhythm-section chemistry and vintage keyboard sounds. The band’s sound evokes artists such as Vulfpeck, Neal Francis and Magic City Hippies, yet remains unmistakably its own: organic, melodic, groovy, and deeply human.

Following a series of independently released singles, San Leandro is preparing its debut full-length album, Dive, a collection that explores renewal, illusion, and the search for personal conviction.
